Admissions teams
Parents and carers apply online for Early Learning and Childcare (ELC), primary and secondary places. Admit matches their preferences to capacity and attendance patterns, at scale, on your own criteria. Every decision is on the record.
Yes. Admit replaces and extends NAMS. It covers applications, allocation and ELC records, and adds funded hours calculation, parent and partner provider portals, extra hours, messaging and an audit log.
By rules. Your council sets the criteria and how much each one counts. Admit applies them the same way to every application, and records how each decision was reached.
Yes. Every child's funded hours are worked out from their entitlement and their attendance pattern, including split placements. When something changes, the hours are worked out again.
They are handled on the same criteria as the main intake, for the places that remain. They are logged in the same way.
By bulk upload. Existing children and their placements are brought in at onboarding, so you do not start from an empty system.
IT and procurement
Three ways: through G-Cloud 15, through Softcat as a framework reseller, or by Quick Quote.
In the UK, on AWS in the London region. There is nothing to install: Admit runs in the browser.
No. Admit replaces the NAMS module and works alongside whichever management information system you use. Data goes out as CSV for other systems to take in. How data comes in from yours is agreed during onboarding.
Admissions Support Ltd holds Cyber Essentials and has commissioned independent penetration tests every year since 2023. Every account uses multi-factor authentication. The security page has the evidence and dates.
Typically 4 weeks from award. There is no infrastructure for your team to deploy.
The team that builds Admit. You talk to them directly, not to a tiered support desk.
Leadership and finance
No. Admit is priced on your application volume, not your user count. One annual licence covers every feature, every admission type, every setting and every user.
The licence is sized to your volume and reviewed with you.
Onboarding scope, such as bulk upload, data migration and training, is part of your quote. We set it out against your own numbers.
We quote against your numbers, so there is no rate card. The How to buy page has an illustrative example for a medium-sized authority.
Yes. A five-year fixed term is available.
Partner providers
No. Partner provider access is part of the council's licence, and the number of users does not change the price.
The children it is funded for, the funded hours for each, and its funding list. These are the same figures the council holds.
A child's funded hours are divided across the settings involved. Each setting sees its own share.

Through your council. If your council uses Admit, its website links to the online application. Admit does not take applications on this site.
