How Admissions Support Ltd uses personal data collected through this website.

Last updated 6 October 2026.

Who we are

This website, admit.app, is run by Admissions Support Ltd. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

  • Registered in Scotland, company number SC759018.
  • Registered office: 86 Lochend Park View, Edinburgh, EH7 5FZ.
  • Office address: 84 Commercial Street, Edinburgh, EH6 6LX.
  • Email: josh@admit.app.
  • Phone: 0131 605 0125.

What this notice covers

This notice covers this website and the enquiries sent through it. It does not cover the Admit product. If you are a parent, carer or member of staff using Admit through a council, the council is the data controller for that data. Its own privacy notice applies.

What we collect and why

Enquiries

When you book a demo, request a quick quote or send a message, we collect what you enter in the form:

  • your name and email address
  • your council or organisation, and your role
  • anything else you tell us, such as the system you use today, approximate application numbers or your message

We use these details to reply to you, arrange demos and prepare quotes. We do not use them for anything else. If you email or phone us directly, we use your name, contact details and what you tell us in the same way.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests. You have asked us something, and we need your details to answer. You can object at any time.

Visiting the website

When you load a page, our hosting and media providers receive your IP address and browser details, as with any website. They use them to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. They keep them in short-lived logs.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests, in running a secure website.

Error reports

If a step in handling an enquiry fails, an error report goes to Sentry so we can fix it. The report can include the enquiry. That lets us still reply to you by hand.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests, in keeping the forms working and losing no enquiry.

Enquiry counts

Each time a form is sent, we record one event in PostHog. It says which form was used, whether the enquiry went through, how long the form took to fill in and which page you came from. For a quick quote it also holds the approximate numbers you gave. It carries a random reference, never your name, email address, council or anything you wrote.

Lawful basis: legitimate interests, in knowing that the forms work.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and does not track your visits. See the cookie policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the companies that run this website and handle enquiries for us. Each acts as our processor under a data processing agreement.

  • Vercel hosts the website and runs its forms.
  • Resend sends the emails about each enquiry: one to our team and one to you.
  • Google Workspace holds our team's email, where each enquiry arrives.
  • Attio holds our customer records. Each enquiry is recorded there.
  • Sentry receives error reports. It holds them in the EU.
  • PostHog receives the enquiry counts. It holds them in the EU.
  • Cloudflare serves our videos and documents. Its Turnstile checks that each form is sent by a person, not a program.

Sanity holds the articles on this website. It receives no data about visitors.

We also disclose personal data when the law, a court order or a law enforcement agency requires it. If Admissions Support Ltd is sold or merges with another business, your details may pass to our advisers, to any prospective buyer and to the new owners.

International transfers

Some of these companies are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the UK, each company's data processing agreement covers the transfer. It does so with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an equivalent safeguard. You can ask us for a copy.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: while we are talking with you or your council, and for as long as we provide Admit to your council. We delete them once they are no longer needed.
  • Error reports and server logs: for a short period set by each provider. They are then deleted automatically.
  • Enquiry counts hold no personal data.

Keeping it secure

We take appropriate measures to protect personal data from misuse and unauthorised access. Only the people who need your data can see it. Access is protected, and we review our measures regularly. We require the same of the companies that process data for us.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • know why we need your data, what we do with it and how long we keep it
  • get a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • have it corrected or completed
  • have it deleted
  • ask us to restrict how we use it
  • receive it in a portable format, or have it sent to another organisation
  • object to our use of it on the basis of legitimate interests

To use any of these rights, email josh@admit.app. Please say clearly who you are, so we change or delete the right person's data. We may ask for proof of identity.

We reply within one month. If a request is complex, we will tell you within that month if we need up to three.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):
