Terms of use

The terms for using this website.

Last updated 6 October 2026.

About these terms

These terms apply to this website, admit.app. By using it, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.

They do not cover the Admit product. Councils use Admit under their own contract with us. If that contract, or any other contract you have with us, conflicts with these terms, the contract applies.

Who we are

This website is run by Admissions Support Ltd, registered in Scotland, company number SC759018. Our registered office is 86 Lochend Park View, Edinburgh, EH7 5FZ. Our office address is 84 Commercial Street, Edinburgh, EH6 6LX.

Using this website

Use this website only for its intended purpose, and in line with these terms and the law. You must not:

  • publish, send or link to malicious software through it
  • use data from it for direct marketing
  • collect data from it systematically or by automated means
  • do anything that damages it or affects its performance, availability or accessibility
  • get round, or try to get round, any restriction on access to it

If you break these terms, we may suspend or block your access. We may also ask your internet provider to block it, or take legal action.

We may change, suspend or withdraw the website, or any part of it, at any time. We are not liable to you if we do.

Information on this website

This website describes Admit in general terms. What we provide to a council is set by its contract and quote, not by this website.

Intellectual property

We or our licensors own the copyright and other intellectual property in this website and its content, including the Admit name and logo. All rights are reserved.

Unless specific content says otherwise, you may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, alter, sell or otherwise use any of it without our written permission. This does not limit what the law allows, such as quotation.

Ideas you send us

Please do not send us ideas, inventions or other work you see as your own intellectual property unless we have first signed an agreement about it, such as a non-disclosure agreement. If you send it without one, you give us a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, store, adapt, publish, translate and distribute it in any media.

Links to other websites

This website links to sites we do not control. We do not review their content, and we do not necessarily share the views expressed there. Their own terms apply to anything they offer.

We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. You use them at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for any loss caused by giving them your personal data.

Disclaimer

We work to keep this website accurate and up to date. If you find something wrong or out of date, email josh@admit.app and tell us where you read it. We will look at it as soon as we can.

We treat messages sent by email or through a form as we would a letter. We reply within one month. If a request is complex, we will tell you within that month if we need up to three. Any personal data you send is handled as our privacy notice describes.

The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". They may contain errors. We give no warranty, express or implied, that:

  • the content is accurate, complete or current
  • the website meets your needs
  • the website is available without interruption, securely or free of errors

Nothing on this website is legal, financial or other professional advice. If you need advice, consult a suitably qualified professional.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from your access to or use of this website. That includes loss of profit, revenue or data, and damage to property, whether suffered by you or anyone else.

Unless another contract with us says otherwise, our total liability to you in connection with this website, or anything marketed or sold through it, is limited to the total amount you paid us. This limit applies to all your claims together, whatever their legal basis.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against all claims, liabilities, damages, losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms or of the law, including intellectual property and privacy rights. You will reimburse us promptly for them.

Privacy, cookies and accessibility

Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal data. Our cookie policy explains what this website stores on your device.

If a disability stops you using any part of this website, tell us what happened. Where we can identify and fix the problem, we will do so promptly.

Legal compliance

Do not use this website where its content is illegal. You must not use it in breach of UK export laws and regulations.

General

  • We may communicate with you by email or through this website. Those communications meet any legal requirement for writing.
  • You may not assign, transfer or subcontract your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent.
  • If we do not enforce a provision straight away, we have not waived it. We can still enforce it later.
  • If a court or other authority finds any part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, that part is modified or removed only as far as needed. The rest stays in force.
  • These terms are written in English. All notices and correspondence will be in English.
  • These terms, with our privacy notice and cookie policy, are the entire agreement between you and Admissions Support Ltd about your use of this website.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and changes apply once published here. Check them from time to time. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Scots law. The courts of Scotland have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
